Day 17 Complete.. Exhausted but we were Warned!!

Just arrived. Absolutely exhausted.
Longest Day and Definitely the Toughest..

Not actually the steepest so far but the most bends ascending and descended..

Seat Edge, Nail Biting Challenges from start to finish. Didnt even have time for the coffee stop back at the Tiger Kingdom or the Lunch Stop at the Coffee House..

2 Tests were completed. Dont think we
will be checking the Results board tonight tho as i think we know where we will have come lol

Hill Climb Regularities are not a 1907 Itala's strongest point..

An alternative route was suggested for some of the 'oldies' in the pack but David  wasnt having any of that as he likes a little bit of a challenge so we were very very happy to arrive in daylight hours and to a Fanfare Today of wolf whistles and clapping from our competitors which was very emotional lol..

We were all presented with a Certificate on arrival at the Hotel :)))

We were the last to arrive on our own steam but a few cars are still out there in the wilderness awaiting Tow Trucks..
Hey Rudi Friedrichs you have work to do!!

I never want to see the word Summit or Viewing point again...

We made it 'On Route' and only needed a little 500 metre tow up a steep hill earlier by a very kind little Alvis ::)))

Big Thank You to Rudi & Helga in Car # 8.
Not sure if he was serious when he stopped on the hill and asked us if we wanted a tow. David didnt decline his offer and our tow rope was attached like grease lightning.. :))

Starting to roll back. This is where i have to leap off and find the nearest rock to wedge under the rear wheel..

The Royal Waves..

And then the King of the Road arrives and with a little nudge from the locals we tugged up the 'wooden hill'

Job Complete.... :)))

Then off to the 1st Test and the queue...
1 hour and 15 minutes we waited to start the Test....

Didnt do too badly considering!!!

And the Regularity Results lol

No Coffee Break for us today...
No Lunch Break either, just a stamp in and stamp out...

The Old Girl climbed beautifully UP flowing from side to side and using every inch of the bends.. The descent was very hairy scarey... Doesnt bare thinking about now.. We made it. :))

Top up with good old plain water!! A very thirsty girl she was today..

Another full tank of '91' to the tune of 2600 Bhats..

And we were on the home run with the sun setting through the trees..

Not quite sure what the relevance is with these little coffee flavoured dessert ducks.. Even the towels were rolled into little animated figures lol

Maybe all will be revealed in the morn.
