Day 2 Desaru to Kuanton

David has found a new navigator :))

Lots of penalties have got us a late start. 

So we have a leisurely 9.21am start.

Had a lovely early morning dip in the pool and now it looks like we will get a good showering on route.

Local guy said it only lasts 5 mins but i am on 10 now and still counting!!

A local joins the race to the time control.

The Audience awaits our arrival at one control.. They seemed pleased to see us all. They are just so so friendly. Very interested in the Rally and the cars. I think they think we are mad. They areprobably right!!

David nearly drove INTO the time control today - so eager to get the 'correct time' in the book. 

We got soaked today once or twice. Which was slightly annoying to say the least!! On top of that little hindrance, our new all singing and dancing Trip Master cut out during one shower so we managed to miss a left turn to Muadzam Sham and headed 20km in the wrong direction.. We luckily found our way back to the turning and came in dead 'on time'

1 Wet Road book.. Not sure whether this little Route book will survive the journey..
